This December I had the thrill and honor of providing the puppetry and voice of Mel the Milkbite for Kraft for three national spots. Assisting me on Mel was the lovely Lara Maclean. I had a wonderful time on these shoots. We shot on location for each ad, including shooting in a NY restaurant. Spending the day sitting underneath a real restaurant booth puppeteering a breakfast bar is never boring!
The three puppets (standing rod puppet, sitting rod puppet, large close-up hand puppet) were built at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop by Jim Kroupa, Jason Weber, and Anney Fresh. Read all about the little guy above, and keep an eye out for the ads starting February 13th!
